Dear GlobalSkin Members, 

I want to thank the GlobalSkin Member community for the ongoing support and care we have shown one another as we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic. We have all experienced unprecedented change and new obstacles in both our personal and professional circles, but all of us have done our best to rise to the challenge and continue to provide excellent support and assistance to our members who count on us, now more than ever.

Research Update: GRIDD
Phase 2 Patient Impact Interviews - Completed!
 

GlobalSkin is pleased to report that despite the pandemic’s challenges our mighty GRIDD team, including our staff and researchers from Cardiff and Hamburg Universities, succeeded in completing our Phase 2 patient interviews! 
  
These interviews were included in Phase 2 to fill patient data gaps identified after the initial round of research was undertaken in June 2019.  Over the past two months, researchers conducted a total of 28 interviews with patients from nine countries focusing on five identified conditions: acne; psoriasis; eczema; vitiligo; and scarring alopecia.

GlobalSkin Member Community

Members are at the heart of our organization and as such building capacity and providing networking and learning opportunities to patient leaders is one of our highest priorities.  Learn how GlobalSkin has been supporting our Members over the last several months.  

Since April, GlobalSkin has hosted 3 successful COVID-19 Virtual Townhalls for Members with presentations from experts in the field of dermatology, epidemiology, and mental health.

GlobalSkin Members have been taking part in an exclusive Fundraising E-Learning series which runs from May – July 2020.  With not for profits in mind, this series delivers excellent learning skills.

GloblaSkin Workplace is an online community space where our Members collaborate with fellow patient leaders, share dermatology-related news, resources, and receive updates.

New monthly bulletins have been developed specifically for our GlobalSkin Members. The bulletins keep everyone up to date on events, programs and relevant opportunities.
