The Israeli Association for Atopic Dermatitis serves as a unifying community for contestants and their families and made it her goal to make available to every patient the most up-to-date medical knowledge, which would allow them to build the most appropriate treatment plan for themselves.
In cooperation with the health communities in Israel and around the world, we are working to raise awareness of the accessibility of proper treatment for skin disease, for the well-being of the patient community in Israel.
Impact Fund Project
AD is strenuous and emotionally draining. People need ongoing support and boost in order to be able to take care of themselves and their children. A lot of information on managing the disease is unknown to many of these people, therefore it's essential to provide different opportunities to reenergize and learn new skills.
For our Member Impact Project, we created a series of 4 consecutive interactive support meetings with a therapist. Each session emphasized a different aspect of AD and focused on different coping mechanisms and how to manage stress.
The Biggest Success of the Project in Our Patient Community
The biggest impact of the project was reaching people that truly need help and closing that informational gap.
