Canadian Burn Survivors Community's mission is to offer support and education to any person or people that have been affected by burns.
Impact Fund Project
Our project began when we hired a lawyer to assist us in writing new bylaws and this was completed at our June 2022 AGM when the bylaws were formally adopted by resolution. Our goal was to ensure compliance with Corporations Canada.
Now that we know our bylaws are in compliance with CorporationsCanada, and we have formally adopted them, they have been filed. This shows our commitment and gives us strength for the future as we assist survivors to heal from their unique injuries.
We are a stronger organization for receiving this funding as we know that we have a solid foundation to move forward.
The Biggest Success of the Project in Our Patient Community
The biggest impact of the project is becoming compliant with Corporations Canada which means we are a legitimate organization that can operate and receive funding.
