Join GlobalSkin for our workshop on, "Learning About Digital Advocacy", facilitated by Zach Zimmel, co-founder and Strategy Director of Principles which is an award-winning integrated marketing firm who fundamentally believe that better work should be accessible to people doing social good.

Zach will be joining GlobalSkin to facilitate an intimate 60-minute session to explore the world of digital advocacy. In the session we will explore various elements from the Digital Advocacy Campagin Toolkit, including goals and tactics, calls to action, campaign materials, and measuring success. A portion of the session will be dedicated to an AMA (Ask Me Anything) discussion period, with the goal of ensuring participants walk away with tangible action items for their patient organizations.

Members will have the chance to think, brainstorm and share ideas during the discussion above. The goal of each workshop is to ensure that participants walk away with tangible ideas that benefit their needs.

Zach Zimmel is the co-founder and Strategy Director at Principles, a Toronto based firm that partners with charities, nonprofits, and social impact-focused groups to build creative campaigns, communications strategies, and branding projects to drive positive change in the world. As strategic lead, Zach works with Principles’ clients to identify business problems and solutions, to unearth audience or market insights, and to build ambitious campaign growth plans. He moonlights as a copywriter, which he loves. Zach is particularly nerdy about fundraising and audience growth strategy, digital advocacy, and data analysis. He doesn’t fancy himself much of an optimist these days, but Zach finds hope when he thinks about people-powered social movements harnessing technology for social good.
