GlobalSkin World Atopic Eczema Day Fund
World Atopic Eczema Day on September 14, is a global moment to shine a light on atopic eczema and its impact on individuals, families, and caregivers.
To support this important day, GlobalSkin established the World Atopic Eczema Day Fund—providing financial support to Member organizations to bring meaningful awareness and advocacy activities to life. We are delighted to offer this grant opportunity for the seventh consecutive year, continuing our shared commitment to driving impact and visibility worldwide!
We invite grant applications from our member organizations in the lead-up to World Atopic Eczema Day. Applications that demonstrate how you will raise awareness of the disease, build community during World Atopic Eczema Day, and advocate for change, will be considered for funding.
Proposals that fall into one of the following categories can be funded up to $2200 CAD:

Funding Opportunities

Event Planning
Grants funded in this category will support hosting activities related to World Atopic Eczema Day. Activities can include virtual and in-person events. Examples of activities that could be funded include webinars, ask-the-expert sessions, e-learning opportunities, and town hall events. Funds can be used towards the cost of using online meeting/presentation platforms or in-person events that follow the health and safety guidelines of your country or region.

Marketing
Grants funded in this category will support the development and/or purchase of marketing materials that raise awareness of the activities you have planned for World Atopic Eczema Day. Examples of activities that could be funded include Facebook ads, social and traditional media buying, graphic design and printing materials such as flyers or brochures.
Advocating to Policy Makers
The WHA Skin Disease Resolution has been adopted, and this year’s WAED theme—#BreakTheInvisibleBurden—focuses on turning it into action. Projects in this category should advance the resolution by engaging policymakers to address the burden of skin diseases, including atopic eczema. Some examples include developing a brief factsheet or impact statement for stakeholders, and hosting events—such as panels, patient storytelling, or community walks—that bring patients and policymakers together.
