GlobalSkin participated in the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) Annual Meeting 2026, held March 27–31 in Denver, USA, joining global leaders in dermatology to advance patient-centered care and collaboration. Representing the organization were Board President Marc Yale, Operations & Research Programs Director Allison FitzGerald, and Strategic Partnerships Manager Jakub Sadocha. During its time in Denver, GlobalSkin’s delegation took part in the following activities:

Engagement Leading into the AAD Annual Meeting
Ahead of the AAD meeting, Allison FitzGerald participated in the Association for Psychoneurocutaneous Medicine of North America Annual Meeting, where she delivered a on PRIDD and measuring mental health, and spoke at the gala event about GlobalSkin and initiatives. Her contributions highlighted the importance of integrating patient perspectives within interdisciplinary approaches to dermatological care.

Showcasing PRIDD Measure at the AAD
GlobalSkin actively promoted PRIDD—the first fully validated patient-reported impact measure in dermatology—at a dedicated booth in the Exhibition Hall. The booth served as a key touchpoint for delegates to explore how PRIDD can be applied across both research and clinical settings. Visitors gained insight into how the tool captures patient-centered impact. They also learned in detail about its development and real-world applications.
Connecting with Stakeholders
During the AAD Annual Meeting, GlobalSkin engaged with its Members and research teams, attended scientific sessions to learn more about the future of dermatology, met with partners, and was present at the Coalition of Skin Diseases Annual Development Day. Our delegation engaged in knowledge-sharing and connected with various stakeholders to explore ways to raise awareness, highlight research priorities, and advocate more effectively for improved access to care for skin patients worldwide.

GlobalSkin’s presence at the 2026 AAD Annual Meeting reinforced its commitment to championing the voices of people living with skin conditions. Through engagement with partners, researchers, and advocates at such events, GlobalSkin continues to ensure that skin patient perspectives help shape the future of research, policy, and care.
