Impact Fund Project
Our Impact Fund project in the category of “Communications and Marketing” targeted social media marketing to encourage other people with rare dermatological diseases to become members of our association and get the continuous and integrated care that they deserve; The aim of the campaign was to also create an exchange of information through educational social media/web content that will ensure better understanding of rare diseases and why raising the quality of life is important for people with rare dermatological diseases and it will raise awareness in the population.
The Biggest Success of the Project in Our Patient Community
Investing in our social media marketing and other well-planned various content about DEBRA activities enabled us to increase awareness about our organization. Through the use of online content and our website blog, we shaped an image of DEBRA in the public eye. We were able to change how people associate with the disease of epidermolysis bullosa and other rare dermatological diseases and hope that it will eventually stop the stigma. By investing in DEBRA SEO, our content will become more likely to rank highly in the SERPs and appear to users first when they search for relevant keywords such as "epidermolysis bullosa", "ichthyosis", etc.
By analyzing our Facebook and Instagram reach from April to June we can clearly see the results of investing in social media content and in just one week we reached 12k people. SEO also made progress on our website and by adding keywords on our articles, it seems to be more visible on google searching.
