PEM Friends is a group supporting UK patients and carers with auto-immune bullous diseases - pemphigus and pemphigoid.
Impact Fund Project
We have a very small organisation which depends on grants and member donations. We need to raise awareness with patients and the medical community. Our Member Impact Fund project was raising awareness with a booth while attending at the EADV Congress and European Association of Dermatology and Venereology in Milan with copies of our latest magazine plus leaflets, posters and issuing business cards to Dermatologists.
The Biggest Success of the Project in Our Patient Community
Our biggest success was making important contacts at the JEADV and learning from other patient groups. No opportunity missed to publicise the cause! Thank you for creating the awareness.
