International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS)

GlobalSkin maintains a multifaceted collaboration and partnership with the International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS), working together across several key initiatives. Through a Memorandum of Understanding, the two organizations collaborate on strategic efforts that align their missions to elevate skin health worldwide. GlobalSkin is an active member of the Patient Organization Working Group, contributing advisory support to ensure that patient perspectives are reflected in ILDS’s work. Additionally, GlobalSkin participates in several ILDS committees, including the WCD Scientific Program Committee and the World Skin Summit Planning Committee, helping to bring the patient perspective to these dermatology events. GlobalSkin also promotes the ILDS’ World Skin Health Day initiative. Together we have advocated to the World Health Organization to elevate the prioritization of skin conditions in health policy, with a major milestone achieved with the adoption of the WHA Skin Diseases Resolution in May 2025.
